Email: info@kxt-products.com

2. Processing when you visit the website

When you open our pages, your browser transmits technically necessary data that is stored in server log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. The log files are deleted after a short time.

3. Hosting

This website and order processing run on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. For inventory management and accounting we also use Odoo by Odoo S.A., Chaussée de Namur 40, 1367 Grand-Rosière, Belgium. Both process data on our behalf; data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place.

4. Cookies and local storage

We do not use cookies or any analytics or advertising services. Your basket and — for convenient re-ordering — the address you last entered are stored only locally in your browser (local storage); they are transmitted to us only when you place an order. The legal basis is § 25(2) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). You can delete this data at any time in your browser settings.

5. Orders

To process your order we process your master and contact data (name, address, email, phone number if provided) and the order data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Retention periods under commercial and tax law (up to ten years) remain unaffected.

5a. Saving your basket by email

If you save your basket by email, we store your email address and the content of the basket (items and quantities) for 30 days and send you a link to reopen it. The data is then deleted. We do not use the address for anything else. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract at your request).

6. Disclosure to third parties

We only pass on your data where this is necessary to perform the contract:

  • Shipping: name and delivery address to the shipping company we use (DHL, Deutsche Post) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Payment: the data required for payment to the payment service provider you choose: PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, or, for card payment, Apple Pay and Google Pay, Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin D02 H210, Ireland — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Tax advisers and authorities where required by law — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

7. Contacting us

If you write to us by email or via the contact form (name, email, order number if provided and your message; the form sends them to us as an email), we process your details to handle the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once the matter is closed and no retention obligations apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. Please contact us at the address above.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
